Chakme is a visual artist and film director born in Yushu, Qinghai. He is also the founder of the Tsenpo Museum.His films have been selected and won awards at international film festivals. His artistic practice continually explores the profound interplay between traditional Eastern thought, aesthetic experience, and contemporary artistic language. This exploration offers new inspiration for Chinese contemporary art to rediscover its own intellectual resources, broaden its intellectual and creative horizons, and open up new creative possibilities. His major works include the films ATA(2014) and The Little Ring.(2026) The Little Ring is the first theatrical film in China to focus on Chinese contemporary artists.
