Wang Sicheng

Wang Sicheng (b. 1992, Wuhan) received an MFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art. He has lived and worked in Wuhan, New York, and Shanghai. Wang is the founder of ACE Lab, an experimental art collective. His practice encompasses painting, installation, performance, and new media.Through poetic approaches to different media, Wang explores his experience and understanding of the elusive fluidity of life, while also addressing environmental concerns. His practice consistently examines the personal, cultural, and historical connections between homeland and elsewhere, seeking to understand how the dynamically changing society in which he lives shapes his own identity and experience.
